Day 1 : Marrakech » High Atlas Mountains » Oukaimeden
On the first day, we will meet you at your hotel in Marrakech to pick you up and start our bird-watching tour into the High Atlas Mountains as we will spot the first species in our birding tour including Moussier’s Redstart, Sardinian Warbler, Blue Rock Thrush, Spotless Starling, Green Woodpecker, Little Owl, House Bunting, and Moroccan Magpie.
We will continue to reach Okaimeden Resort where we will see Alpine Chough, Crimson-winged Finch, Atlas Horned Lark, Rock Sparrow, and Black Wheatear.
then we will go to a local hotel for dinner and spend the night
Day 2 : High Atlas Mountains » Ouarzazate » Boumalne Dades
Today after breakfast we will enjoy the great landscapes in the High Atlas Mountains exploring Tristram’s Warbler, Bonelli’s Eagle, and Long-legged Buzzard and continuing towards Ouarzazate passing by Tizi n’Tichka pass.
then we will pass by Ouarzazate to Skoura and Valley of Roses and finally, Boumalne Dades where we will spot Ruddy Shelduck, Cormorants and Herons, Marbled Duck, Maghreb Lark, and Black-winged Stilts.
we will have dinner and spend the night at a local hotel in Boumalne Dades to be ready for the next day.
Day 3 : Dades » Tagdilt » Skoura » Ouarzazate
Today we will wake up early before sunrise to have breakfast because our destination is one of the best areas in Morocco for bird-watching It’s Tagdilt where we will spot Desert Wheatear, Trumpeter Finch, Short-toed Lark, Red-rumped Wheatear, Thekla Lark, nomadic Thick-billed Lark, Maghreb Wheatear, Cream-coloured Courser, Temminck’s Lark.
After spotting all these species in Tagdilt we will drive into Dades Gorges where we will watch Tristram’s Warbler and Bonelli’s Eagle. and then we will go back to Ouarzazate for dinner and spend the night in a local hotel.
Day 4 : Ouarzazate » Anti Atlas Mountains » Souss Valley » Taroudant » Agadir
Today after breakfast we will continue our 7 Days Atlas Mountains and Atlantic Coast Birding Tour towards Souss Valley through the Anti-atlas Mountains where we will spot wheatear and larks.
When we reach Souss Valley we will find Spanish Sparrow, Laughing Dove, Black-crowned Tchagra, and Cirl Bunting. then we will drive into Taroudant Pallid Swifts.
Then our destination is Agadir for dinner and spend the night.
Day 5 : Agadir » Cap Rhir » Tamri Estuary
Today we will wake up early in the morning to have breakfast and drive to the beach to see Audouin’s Gulls, Lesser Black-backed Gulls, and Yellow-legged Gulls.
After spotting these species on the beach we continue to Cap Rhir where we can watch shearwaters and skuas. then we drive to the coast of Tamri Estuary to spot Northern Bald Ibis.
Then the day will be ended so we have to drive back to Agadir for Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 : Oued Massa – Oued Souss
Today our first destination is the Atlantic Coast exactly Oued Massa where we will spot a variety of species including Marbled Duck, Sardinian Warbler, Black-crowned Tchagra, Brown-throated Martin, Little Owl, Laughing Dove, Moussier’s Redstart, Stone Curlew, and Glossy lbis.
After watching these Birds in Oued Massa we will take you to Oued Souss to watch shorebirds, roosting gulls, Flamingos, and terms. then our day will be ended so we will transfer you to Agadir for dinner and spend the night at a local hotel.
Day 7 : Agadir - Marrakech
On the final day after breakfast, we will transfer you directly to Marrakech with several birding stops to enjoy your travel in Morocco as much as possible. then dinner and accommodation in Marrakech.
